How to Manage User Details

In this module, You will learn about user profile, user settings, how to add other users to your account and give them access rights. you will also learn about account settings and preferences.

In Cheers Video Mail, you can invite other users to join your account ;as well as you can be invited to join other accounts. This gives you and any invited users the ability to work collectively on various accounts simultaneously without repeatedly signing in and out of them. 


Another feature of the Account is the ability to use different but verified email addresses to communicate messages from your account. This concept will become more clear in the upcoming videos so please keep watching.

2- User Profile

Welcome to cheers academy. This video is about the user profile. Under Account details, if you go to “User profile “, you can add information about yourself; such as your full name, image, address and description. Currently this information is for yourself only. 

In the future, CVM  will give you the ability to integrate CVM into your website where others will be able to view your profile. right now it’s totally your choice to fill this information out. In the next video, I will talk about the user settings, so please keep watching.

3- User Settings

This video is about the User Settings

Let's look at the "User preference" section first: 

For Login Action: You have two options here: Load default account; which will load the account that you logged in from.

Now, As mentioned in the introduction video ,  CVM gives you the ability to add other users to your account

If you select the “Open selected Account page” option, upon logging in; you will see a list of all the accounts added to your account. From there, you will be able to select which account you want to load. 

Under “Default Account” you can select the account that will automatically open up first when you log in. If “Cheers Sale Team” account is selected, that is the account that will open up.

Startup Page” option lets you pick the landing page that will be displayed when you log in. For Instance if you want to go starlight into the inbox after logging in, you can choose the “Inbox” option. 


Under “Login Settings” you can change your password and manage external logins such as Facebooks, Google or Microsoft. 


Linked account is about you as a user. Here, you will see a list of all the accounts you are a member of. You can remove yourself from any account if you wish to do so. 

On the right hand side, you will see a list of pending invitations from accounts that would like you to join them.

4- Current Account Details

You can view the information about your account here. Your Email, Name, time zone, Account Type and any Description. You can modify any information if you want and then click save. Next Video, is about “Account Users” so please continue watching.

5- Account Users

There is a lot to do at your account: you have a team, you have service providers, and you have multiple resources that can assist and help; right? Let’s look at how CVM can help you all work collectively with no hassle!


CVM Account users feature allows you to add other users to your account regardless of their status and membership in other accounts.  Your team can include users with access ranging from administrator to just a reviewer; while as the Owner you are always in control of your account. 


Depending on your account type; you are allowed a certain number of users to be associated with your account. 

To invite users and provide them access to your account, Go to “Account Users” and click on the “Invite New User” button. 

If you are unable to click this button, check your account users status; you can upgrade your subscription or get in touch with us for a 1 or 2 users addition. 


Next fill out the information of the user you want to be added; their first name, last name and Email is mandatory. Next assign them a role, depending on the type of access you want them to have. You can write a quick message and then click “Save and Send”. 

They will receive an email, asking them to confirm joining your account.


Your invitees may already be users of CVM and they get immediate access upon acceptance; if they are not, however, they can join CVM for free and get access to your account as desired.

6- Verified Emails

With this feature you can use other user’s email address to send messages directly from your account. This is useful for when you want to communicate with someone using a familiar name or email. People tend to open emails that they recognize.  For instance: If you wish to communicate with a customer that only recognizes your partners name and email; You can send emails from your partner’s email address on your behalf.


Under Account details, all you have to do is select verified emails and then click on the “New Request” button. Enter the email that you would like to use. The person’s name who that email address belongs to; their title ; a brief message if you want and then click save. You will see a “saved successfully” message. 


You will see that person’s information under the pending requests section. 


They will receive an email informing them that you have  requested to use their email for your account. They will simply have to click on the “ verify” button and That’s it. You will then be a verified sender and will be able to send emails using their email address from your account.

7- Account Prefernces

You can set up the default settings for your account here. 

The first four options are for the templates. You can have different settings for both nHD and VGA resolutions and also for both Portrait and Landscape formats. 

You can select a default resolution for your mobile.

After applying all the settings, click save.
